Samsung Unveils Galaxy Gear, the Gear 2, and Neo Smartwatches First Impressions
Samsung has announced three latest new smartwatch devices at MWC this year, including the success to last year’s Galaxy Gear, Gear 2, and the sleeker version called the Neo, and a fitness and fashion focused wristband device Samsung Gear Fit. To compare to all other phones, Galaxy S5 features has come with lot of improvements compared to Galaxy S4 including of the better 16MP mega pixel camera with autofocus option, scanner comes with fingerprint option and sensor. This all powered with 2.5Ghz quad core Snapdragon processor.
The Gear 2 range comes with interchangeable straps and this has powered by their own Tizen Operating system (OS). This Gear 2 features curved OLED screen and is focused towards fitness. The Galaxy S5 sure will be making its own in to the market. This cost of the Gear 2 launching with estimated price of Rs 49,990.
Samsung this new mobile phone introduce slightly cheaper version named as the Gear 2 Neo, which won’t come with the camera or come in as many colors. The device yet to announce the price from the company. Some of the several models of other versions also doing to launch with lot of other features.
The Galaxy S5 phone also includes some of the great upgrades from the predecessor. The main biggest advantage of the changes is in its camera. This camera comes with 16 megapixels and this makes it sharper compare to the Galaxy S4 which had come with just 13. This device designed to focus faster and focus the image more with clarity.
The both smartwatches launched with built-in heart monitor, a pedometer and include exercise modes and sleep monitoring.
The Gear 2 is slightly bigger than the Gear Neo (68 grams compared to 55 grams), and other features of Gear 2 comes with 2-megapixel camera and this will capture video in 720p. The both Gear 2 and Gear Neo comes with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of built-in memory and 300mAh battery.
