As much expected Samsung has launched mid-range Samsung Galaxy Core 2 smartphone in India for Rs. 7,990. The Galaxy Core 2 is listed Samsung e-store and will available in two colours.
The Samsung Galaxy Core 2 comes with quad core with dual-SIM phone that runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. The Core 2 has TouchWiz UI on top with similar software experience compare to their top models. The Galaxy Core 2 is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor, runs with Android 4.4.2. The screen comes 4.5 inch TFT screen with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. There is 4GB internal storage and 768MB RAM. The Galaxy Core 2 has micro SD card slot that can support up to 64GB external cards.
The Galaxy Core 2 camera sports 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and VGA (0.3-megapixel) front-facing camera.
