Nokia has come up with surprise for the launch of its new Android tablet, the Nokia N1. The Nokia N1 running with Android Lollipop which is the latest build of the OS and features with 7.9-inch screen dispaly. This Nokia N1 first will launch in China, followed with Russia and still not clear the when the device will come to India.

The latest Nokia N1 has 2.3GHz Intel ATOM Z3580 64 bit quad core processor with PowerVR G6430 GPU clocked with 533 MHz. Nokia N1 tablet packed in an single piece aluminum body with a weight of just about 318 grams. The tablet is 6.9 mm thickness and sports with 7.9 inch display screen with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution.

The Nokia N1 tablet has zero air gap display and gets Gorilla Glass 3 layer. The new N1 comes with 2GB of RAM and also includes PowerVR G6430 GPU. The Nokia N1 offers 32GB onboard storage which also has option to expand with help of microSD card. The connectivity options include dual channel 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi with MIMO, microUSB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0.

Nokia N1 camera point of view that the tablet has 8 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera for selfies. To consider this specification with the iPad camera is come up with 5 megapixel and just 1.2 megapixel on the front. The latest Nokia N1 has fully laminated display and the device has Android 5.0 / Nokia Z launcher runs out of the box with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

Nokia said that the 7.9-inch Nokia N1 tablet will be available first in China in the first quarter of 2015 with an approx price tag of USD250. The most important that the Nokia N1 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.
