New Google Search App With Siri-Like Voice Responses Finally For iOS


Google has rolled out an update to its iOS Google search app that includes a feature to do voice search with ‘OK Google’ command. The similar to that of apple’s Siri. The updated iOS Google Search app improving on the Google now personal assistant, gives users more options for remainders. Notifications and searches. According to Mashable the apps runs like voice controlled personal assistant and allows users to program remainders and run searches without a keyboard. Users can also setup alerts which will be triggered when they arrive at certain locations.

The Google Search app is very quick and voice recognition is too accurate. It is almost identical to the voice search included in Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It is able to answer a broad range of questions and always has Google search results to fall back on. The Google Search app cannot read the text messages, call people, set reminders, dictate notes, set alarms or be used from the lock screen like Apple’s Siri. The Google Search app is still great for asking questions and getting good answers.
