HTC Windows Phone 8X flagship smartphone officially comes to India


Microsoft finally announced the new Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update and now it’s the turn of the Verizon HTC Windows Phone 8X and this smartphone now going to receiving the WP8 GDR3 update.

HTC will officially be the first to launch Windows Phone 8 devices in India and this flagship smartphone windows Phone 8X will be available in stores. This device has good design with non-removable back cover, and soft-touch finish and 4.3-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels. This smartphone resolution gives the best 8X’s screen the highest pixel density among smartphones.

HTC Windows Phone 8X has a 1.5Ghz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, and with 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage which is non expandable. The camera of 8MP rear camera does 1080p video while the 2.1MP front camera has an ultra wide angle lens to fit more people in the frame to make video calls. This device beats Audio amplifier for better sound effect and the SkyDrive 7GB free storage whi9ch is built in this smartphone.

The Windows Phone 8X comes with many features with Update 3/GDR3 for the HTC Windows Phone 8X on Verizon including the new Driving Mode, and this smartphone support for BING applications, and with enhanced multitasking much more multitasking applications. The Windows Phone 8X is great to make the calls and sending the texts. The sound effect of the phone is great compare to other models and this easy to hear without any noise.

The battery life is difficult to quantify as usage scenarios differ from one person to another. The backup time will differ from person to person for the usage and I use to browse and also use other things like playing games for instance. The back up is good after usage of many applications. The battery performance is similar to the other brands with Galaxy Nexus throughout a day of use.
